Senior Software Engineer June 2022 - Present

Slalom Build, Chicago Illinois, United States

Project: Securian Financial

  • Redesigned Citrix workspace app into web-based platform using Java, showcasing technical expertise and adaptability.
  • Collaborated with Engineering Leads to develop Statement of Work (SOW) and participated in the closing process.
  • Known as a Velocity Force and first point of escalation when development engineering requires lift to achieve sprint objectives.
  • Experienced professional skilled in driving innovation through creative problem-solving, strategic software deployment, effective relationship building, critical thinking, agile development, and solution architecture within large-scale programs and enterprise settings.

Project: Ford Motors

  • Developed and implemented the Zero Faults Forward (ZFF) manufacturing execution system (MES) for Ford F150 Lightning EV program to monitor, track and control the manufacturing system to help improve quality control and increase uptime while also reducing inventory and costs.
  • Applied capability expertise to shape and deliver solutions to client challenges during Discovery, Delivery, and Transition.
  • Built in java spring boot and MQTT servers for best performance and minimum delays.

  • Building a Key Performance indicator (KPI) engine to help quantify if the solar asset is on track to meet plant performance with an ambition to save the planet.
  • Experienced in AWS Serverless Architecture using Lambda, Glue, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation and, other services.
  • Authored unit tests, resolved app build failures reviewed pull requests, and actively participated in sprint planning sessions and backlog refinement.
